SLP / Speech Pathologist - Outpatient - Per Diem - Days
ProMedica has a per diem Speech Language Pathologist position available. The employee will develop and administer Speech-Language treatment programs to assist patients with communication, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders in reaching their optimal level of function and independence. Responsible for working with the patients, family members and other team members to design treatment strategies to foster communication and function. Principle duties and responsibilities include administration and interpretation of standardized and non-standardized assessments; using age specific criteria for each age population served, as measures by clinical competencies. Adapts treatment plan as needed to meet the needs of the patient taking into account age and educational level, as measured by competencies. Maintains patient care records, conducts self in a professional manner and participates in continuing education activities, maintains productivity as established by department.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Ohio license in Speech-Language Pathology or pending licensure for PFY
- CPR certified
