We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or ACNP) to our Stroke Network Team to allow for 27/7/365 coverage at our 18 hospitals.

Now is the perfect time to join our neurosciences team and be a significant part of growing our Neurosciences Program.  ProMedica and the University of Toledo Medical Center are developing a comprehensive neurology program which draws from 28 counties throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.  Construction of the new 80,000 sq. ft. Neurology / Neurosurgery outpatient building is now open as of April 2018!  Opportunities will exist in Ohio & Michigan, within and around regional / satellite practices.</p>

PA - 

  • Masters of nursing (MSN) degree with an acute care focus. 
  • Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Ohio
    • PA-C
  • Certificate of Authority to practice is required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Experience in neurosurgery preferred, but  all candidates will be considered with the appropriate training, background and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment toward achieving customer/patient satisfaction.

 

ACNP - 

  • Masters of nursing (MSN) degree.
  • Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Ohio
  • Acute Care Certification Required
  • Certificate of Authority to practice is required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment toward achieving customer/patient satisfaction.
  • Post offer pre-employment required to include tobacco / drug screen / nicotine testing
