POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Strategist- User Experience and Design (user interface developer) is responsible for developing, laying out and updating ProMedica's websites and online properties. This position contributes to the success of the ProMedica marketing and communications team through collaboration on digitally focused marketing campaigns and projects, as well as by contributing to the day-to-day maintenance and optimization of the company's online, public facing websites. Key areas of responsibility include supporting ProMedica's digital and content marketing team as it implements strategies to help the organization achieve its business objectives. ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Works collaboratively with digital and content managers and other internal marketing team partners to ensure accuracy of ProMedica’s websites.
  • Helps build dynamic, user friendly, fully-responsive webpages on existing templates within powerful content management system.
  • Assesses, prioritizes and implements website modification requests received from department stakeholders.
  • Ensures ProMedica websites and pages meet ProMedica’s QA and WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Provides support to user experience manager when necessary to wireframe, develop,
  • Builds wireframe and draft site architecture documents as needed to assist in developing site and marketing campaigns and projects.
  • Monitors website data integrations to ensure proper transfers of information between platforms.
  • Assists in implementing UX improvements as ProMedica web properties consolidate and grow.
  • Possess a strong understanding of UX/UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions/standards.
  • Is able to debug and solve problems efficiently when troubleshooting.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Web development or related field, or equivalent proven work experience.

Skills: The user interface developer must have demonstrated knowledge of web front-end coding languages such as HTML5, CSS / SCSS, Javascript. Experience with design tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD are also required. Experience with Git / GitHub, Sitecore ( or eqivalent enterprise level content manage system), React Framework, Bootstrap, Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics is a plus.

 

  • A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while handling a large volume of projects from multiple clients.
  • A demonstrated aptitude for understanding complex issues and the ability to translate them for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Critical thinking skills and the initiative to explore new approaches, tactics, ideas, etc.  
  • An ability to handle multiple, deadline-oriented projects simultaneously.
  • Mature interpersonal skills, including an enthusiasm for teamwork and the ability to easily develop effective relationships with marketing communications co-workers and clients at all levels of the organization.

 

Years of Experience: 1 – 3 years practical experience
