Job Requirements

ProMedica Physicians Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Provider to join our healthcare team in the city of Toledo, Ohio. As a Primary Care Provider, you will play a crucial role in delivering the exceptional primary medical care services to our patients. You will have the opportunity make a significant impact on the health and well-being of individuals and families in our community.

  • Conveniently located inside of the ProMedica Health and Wellness Center
  • Practice consists of 6 Physicians
  • Office hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients of all ages, including physical examinations, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic illnesses, and prescribing medications.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient history, symptoms, and medical records.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality patient care.
  • Educate patients about preventative care, healthy lifestyle choices, and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to date patient records using electronic health records systems.
  • Stay informed about the latest medical advancements, research, and the best primary care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including networking, councils, and boards.

ProMedica Health and Wellness Center

ProMedica Health and Wellness Center was designed to improve our patients’ health and well-being by bringing essential medical services under one roof.  The three-story, 230,000-square-foot facility houses primary care and specialty physician offices, radiology and laboratory services, a pharmacy, a walk-in clinic, and community room for educational programs.  Providing these services from one location not only makes it more convenient for our patients but improves the coordination of the various stages of care.  

 


Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Valid medical license to practice in Ohio
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related field
  • New graduates and experienced providers are both encouraged to apply
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Interest in being a part of leadership committees or councils
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using electronic health record systems
